Man who claimed her saved the life of a market woman in Ikotun, Lagos using his last cash is a scam, he used images from an old incident.
Recall we reported yesterday that a man Jonesbaba claims he saved the life of a market woman when he went to get food for himself and his 4 year old daughter and used his last cash to deposit for her treatment at the hospital.
He had stated that he rushed to attend to the woman while others at the market refused to get close to her, seeing she was unconscious, he claimed he rushed her to the hospital using the last cash on him. His post got many sympathizers who started requesting for his account number to send some money to him while he got praised as an hero.
It has now been confirmed that the story was fabricated to scam unsuspecting individuals after the pictures were found to have been from a past incident. A Cleric in Benin, Edo state had shared the same pictures on his social media page, January 15th sharing a totally different story. Iyobosa Oziegbe Joshua shared the pictures of the same woman with caption;
