Buhari’s people will unleash terror on Fayose – Dele Momodu

Veteran journalist, Dele Monodu has predicted what will happen to Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose, few weeks to the end of his tenure.

The media mogul alleged that Fayose, a critic of the current government, will find it tough because President Muhammadu Buhari’s “people” will unleash “terror and give him busy”.

Dele Momodu, who took to his Twitter handle, also noted that Fayose will find it very difficult to fund the governorship campaign of his deputy, Kolapo Olusoji.

Dele Momodu wrote:

“I love the way we all overrate some and underrate others. Fayose will find it tough in the next few weeks.

“He will find it hard to raise funds once he’s not the one contesting. His priority will change to self preservation. He won’t spend his personal savings on anyone right now.

“The Buhari people will unleash terror on him & keep him busy. The people who are hailing him may not trust the Prof to carry on with the easy disposition & stomach infrastructure of Fayose.

“The manner Fayemi won against all his attackers shows he has some war chests behind him.”

He also observed that the manner in which the Minister of Solid Minerals, Kayode Fayemi emerged governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, was an indication that he has “some war chest” behind him.

Meanwhile, Ayodele Fayose has told Kayode Fayemi not to celebrate yet as his victory at the rescheduled governorship primary of the All Progressives Congress held on Saturday is Pyrrhic victory.
In a statement issued and signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Idowu Adelusi, Gov. Fayose said Fayemi’s victory has only positioned the Minister for Solid Minerals Development to suffer a worse and more debilitating defeat than that of 2014.
“In 2014 when he was the sitting governor and I was not in power, I trounced him mercilessly. I gave him 16 – 0, defeating him in all the local governments, including in his home town. He did not win a single local government. “Now, I have been in power for more than three years and have served the people of Ekiti well. My legacy projects are there to speak for me, and for my party the PDP, as well as for our candidate in the July 14 governorship election, Prof. Kolapo Olusola Eleka.
“Fayemi will suffer the worst defeat of his political career.
