  29. That’s a good move by the president especially in appointing Aisha the first lady became she the frontrunner against drug abuse that brought it to the notice of the country and the government. Through her activist bravery, some of this drugs were banned in Nigeria . with her the committee will progress. The high rate of drug abuse is alarming and must be checkmate to avoid further decay in the society.

  30. Let’s see then how effective they can be in the eradication of drugs abuse. Congratulation to them though.

  31. Hope this is not a family business because there are many professional on this field the president suppose to appoint

  32. It’s a family affair now, appoint all members of your family. I thought he said that women are meant for the kitchen and bedroom alone.

  33. Congratulations to her but I think there are also many Nigerians out there that can do this job to better their lives.

  34. This one the president is appointing the two women, if they can do it well,we the don’t ve any problems with it

  35. There’s nothing they do these that impresses me, there’s no result to show for their efforts. At the end of the day, it’s all wasted efforts.

  36. That is a good one especially since both are mothers and they will understand better.praying this works out well as this drug menance is killing our youths!

  37. Buhari said the appointment of Aisha and Dolapo as members of the panel was in recognition of their concerted efforts in the course of eradicating the menace of drug abuse in the country.

  38. thats very good but must him appiont his wife? while our youth are in need of that job..mr president weldone oo

  39. so,there is no lady in the whole of the country that can be be nominate for such role or duty,i hope it doesn’t come with financial rewards

  40. This is good, in the light of getting women involved in government affairs but on the other hand, it’s looking like a family affair. Just my view.

  41. That is a good move Mr President but you should have appoint someone else to assist Osinbanjo’s wife as your wife already has a role to play as the first lady.

  42. Congratulations to both 1st and assistant 1st ladies for the new appointments. Since they have been active in similar position, I believe thay will do excellently well.

  43. ASUU is still asking for their money oo. Nigeria said that they can’t meet ASSU’s demand and they are still creating committees where they will also be spending money on monthly basis paying them salaries.

  44. Well, only about 3 members of the committee are disclosed. Before taking a stand or comment, it’s crucial to the other members of the committee. What matters is that the right persons be appointed to do the right job.

  45. That’s sounds good if PMB think they are the best person to carry out that task. May God be with them in carry out that task. Congratulation ma’am

  46. Nice one by the president. Congregations to Dolapo Osibajo the wife of the vice president. I pray the committee will work as they ought to concerning drug issue

  47. This is corruption, why can’t Mr president appoints from outsiders, see how the post keeps on revolving around them only.

  50. This is a nice and pleasant idea…her Excellency has tremendously shown her responsibility on matters concerning drugs

  51. Congratulations to them and may God help them perform their duties without fear nor favour.Drug abuse have destroyed our country especially the youth who are the most victims.

  52. Very soon now, every sector of the government would be held by each of the government household member. It is not about appointing your family members to hold a post but appointing the right people who are qualified for the post

  53. Amazing appointments. Let Mr President also disclose their emoluments to let Nigerians know the implications to the tax payers’ money.

  54. This is very poor. The rich are getting more Richer. There people that have knowledge more than the wife of President. Why not them.

  55. This is great Mr President, the new appointee should please be active to save the future leaders from this act

  56. It’s high time the president started engaging his wife on issues in the country coz the office of the first lady is almost extinct.

  57. Why must it be the wives of the president and vice president of Nigeria? It’s just unfortunate that our democracy has been truncated by nepotism and favouritism by the so called self-centered politicians (cabals)

  58. Wow..that a good decision, these women are well reserved and of course they have been actively responsible for programmes like this, kudos to both of them.

  59. Wow…thats a very good idea….let us work together to fight against drugs abuse in this country….we are all in this together

  60. …i thought he said women belongs to kitchen what is now happening, putting all your generation in the post won’t even make you win the election,we are tired of you and your corruption

  61. This is family/community leadership. Drug abuse committee should be headed or manned by a health personnel.

  62. His wife no longer belong to kitchen alone, he now wants to show that he has given women opportunity in governance in his administration

  63. Why must be president and vice president wife to occupy such position. There are many woman out there who are more educated and knowledgeable than the two nominees. They want to turn appointment to family issues.can they appoint someone that is nuetural. I did not buy this idea. Moreover they new nothing about drug abuse. The same people in power want to remain in power they don’t to give masses the previledge of sharing out of the national cake.
