The General Secretary of the Christian Association of Nigeria, Dr. Musa Asake, is died.
He died in the early hours of today May 11th in Abuja after a brief illness.
The clergyman, a fortnight ago, led thousands of Christians across the country to protest the daily killings and attacks of churches in many parts of the country.
His brother and former member of the House of Representatives, Jonathan Asake, confirmed his death in an interview with The PUNCH.
Here is what he told The Punch:
“Yes, he died this morning. We are right now in the mortuary. I was with him yesterday (Thursday) in his house.”
The deceased was from Southern Kaduna, and was vocal in the defence of Christianity in Nigeria when he was a life.
He was 66 years old.
