“Boko Haram has not been defeated in Nigeria,” Chairman of the Adamawa Chapter of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Bishop Dami Mamza said while criticising the Government of the country.
According to the CAN Adamawa chapter chairman, told some journalists in Yola, the Adamawa state capital, that the insurgents had demanded two million euros as ransom but went ahead to execute the pastor.
After his abduction, contacts were established to the members of the Boko Haram and they there were negotiations. Even as of Sunday, negotiation were still going on but unfortunately on Monday, we heard that they had already executed him. The message came through the person that they always pass the message to Reverend Joel and told him that the Rev. Andimi has been executed.
He even sent him a picture of the execution and he told him that there is a video but the video is too gruesome to be sent.
The first thing the Government needs to do is to tell Nigerians the truth. Boko Haram is not defeated and they are still active and strong. And so, the government should stop fooling Nigerians and stop deceiving Nigerians. Boko Haram are still there and they are still very active. If they are no there then why would we be experiencing this type of things. Who can pass from Michika to Maiduguri without military escort
