Black woman calls out Delta airline after being kicked her out of her first class seat ‘because the check-in attendant didn’t believe she bought first class’

A black woman has called out Delta airline after she was kicked her out of her first class seat.

According to her, she was kicked out because the check-in attendant didn’t believe she could buy first class ticket as a black woman.

Sharing her ordeal on the flight via Twitter, @simimoonlight said the incident almost made her cry. The Twitter user who noted that everyone in the first class were white except her, added that it was her first time of paying to upgrade to first class.

The lady also demanded for a refund for the miles she paid for, as she revealed she was heartbroken from the experience. See her tweets below;

Being a dark-skinned femme is truly such a violent experience. I just got kicked out of my first class seat because the check-in attendant didn’t believe I actually bought first class. I am livid. @Delta, I usually never complain on y’all, but shame on you.

Nah, I really want to cry. I am so mad. I haven’t experienced bullshit like that in a while. I’m usually so good at ignoring the noise but this was a lot for me.”

And of course, everyone in first class was white but me. When I got in line to check in, the attendant made an intercom announcement stating “this is for first class fliers only” — I knew it was going to be bullshit from there.

And the fact that they were a light non-Black person (not white, but not Black) made it all the worst. I legit saw people starting at me in line. Imagine. In 2020. We’re still shocked Black people fly first class. What. The. Fuck.

And it was my first time ever paying to upgrade to first class. I was like “fuck it, I deserve it” and it got ruined. Fuck y’all. @Delta”
