24-year-old Nelson Enwerem Prince is an entrepreneur from Abia. A jack-of-all-trades whose portfolio includes modelling, fashion designing and interior decoration. He enjoys active sports and reading about ancient religions and African history.
What new habit or skill did you acquire during lockdown? Trading forex.
What are your words to live by? A good name is better than riches.
What’s your biggest achievement? Winning Mr. Nigeria and competing in the Mr. World competition. It earned me great respect in my village and honour amongst the elders.
Nelson, is a graduate from the University of Calabar where he studied Pure Physics, He was also crowned winner of the Face of University Nigeria unisex pageant in 2016. His ascension to victory on Sunday Night, at the Silverbird Mr Ideal Man contest in Lagos, as the new Mr. Nigeria 2018 was a proud victory for his beloved family, state, and a country.
After winning the Mr Nigeria competition in 2018, he was asked: “what he would do with his platform during his reign as Mr. Nigeria,”
Nelson answered optimistically, with the intent to first, “bring back the Mr World title to Nigeria.”
He also won the award for the “Most Talented contestant” in that years edition.
His visions garnered respect from judges and peers alike, landing him the number one spot amongst 20 contenders for Mr. Nigeria 2018.
