We reported yesterday that Femi Adesina who appeared as a guest on Channels TV, addressed the controversy surrounding the Metele Boko Haram attack which left over 100 Nigerian soldiers dead. Femi Adesina who is President Buhari’s senior special assistant on media and publicity stated that all over the world, the military does not or rarely disclose the figure of casualties.

However after the claims was proven false which afterwards prompted many call out posts, BBC Journalist Anna Cunningham who led the call stated that she discovered this morning that Channels TV had edited the said interview on their YouTube page, and further cut off the part where Femi Adesina made the controversial statement.
