As the cases of coronavirus continues to rise in Nigeria, various billionaires in the country have pledged cash support to help the government curb the pandemic.
The coronavirus is an ongoing global pandemic, which is responsible for the death of over 35,000, with over 741,000 people also reported to have been infected by the virus.
Popular Nigerian big boy, Ray Hushpuppi, has now taken to social media to call out the billionaires, tagging their donations as fake.
Asking if it has all been done for clout, Hushpuppi wrote that he has been in contact with some major hospitals in the country, and they are still lacking in facilities.
Sharing an image which read, ‘Can somebody check on those billionaires that donated audio billions for clout? The orphanages and hospitals in Nigeria still lack tremendously. Who y’all gave those billions? We trying to know.’
He also captioned the image;
“I am directly in contact with some major orphanages and hospitals. They are lacking majorly in this crazy time so that makes me wonder where did all those privately donated funds go to 🤔🤔🤔”
