Attempts at resuscitating the Associate Professor in surgery and Urologist were made before he died, contrary to previous report that he died due to lack of N200 Cannula and IVF.
Dr. Henry Njeakor who took to his social media page yesterday to state that an Associate Professor in surgery and Urologist who was involved in a road traffic accident dies because the General hospital he was rushed into in Jigawa had no cannula or IVF to help resuscitate which led to his death.
Nigerians became very furious about the news as they called out the governors and reacted in different ways to the heart breaking post.
Njeakor has now retraced his post and apologized claiming he has reached out to people who were on ground who confirmed that there were attempts at resuscitating the Urologist, contrary to his claim. He wrote;
On the previous post, I have called people on ground to verify what exactly happened and discovered that attempts at resuscitation was made on the Consultant before he gave up. My apologies. Still saddened we had to lose someone who was that impactful to us.
