He had specifically accused the airport officials of demanding money from him before his “family members” could see him, just as he berated President Muhammadu Buhari, Governor Akinwunmi Ambode, and Ethiopian Airlines for the frustrating travel procedure.

Reacting to the viral video, FAAN released a public statement notifying everyone that access to the terminal is free.

“The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) hereby notifies all passengers and other airport users that access to the terminal building is free. All passengers and airport users are therefore advised not to give money to any ‘airport official’ to gain access into the terminal.”

Well, the actor has also now taken to social media to apologize to the authorities involved after everything was resolved by top authorities both home and abroad. He wrote;

  1. It’s good to have proper orientation before speaking. Not having facts can lead to serious regret.

  2. My comment on the previous news about this is confirmed here where I said if no one talks to the government or react to issues with tempora rascality, they won’t know what is happening to the masses. See the result now because the government was ranted at.

  3. Wonderful…. You really fought a good fight bro… It definitely went to the highest authority.kudos

  4. Its a huge shame to apologize on something that is wrong.
Its only a south west person that can eat up his or her vomit anyways.
Me, a south southson , apologize for what! Let’s go anywhere and let the muysiuc play, we dance it together, APC, ambode, vice president or buhari can’t remain in power forever, they have failed Nigerians and that’s what we are saying , for me no apologies to whatsoever.
Buhari and APC must go come 2019 or I will leave NIGERIA to another country and sdtay for four years of the shame that we call democracy where rule of lkaw are not been respected.

  5. Sometimes it is good you speak out that’s just what you did and it has yielded good results, so keep speaking up whenever there is need for it

  6. That’s good for rendering apology and also accepted, but what you complained is truth, the way peoples that working in airport is begging money is too much

  7. I really appreciate your courage to apologize, and also for making your intentions known in the first place

  8. that rant was really necessary and it made a whole lot of people step up to their responsibility and clear the air about the mode of operation in this airports of ours. its good faan came in the picture. thats the power of social media though, there sure will be a wider reach, those that will be aggrieved will surely be, and those that will know and learn a thing or two from that will also be there. aremu really took a bold step there, a step that most probably fetched him threats from unknown living things. its good to speak up though but the way you speak up actually matters…in a way many people felt offended by the way he made his case, maybe because we are in nigeria where everyone is afraid to say their mind, a country where people prefer to die in silence

  9. That is good. When an offence had been committed, there is need to apologize. It is left for the offended to accept the apology. That is why it is said that.. To err iw human, to forgive is divine.

  10. It’s good you spoke out, that’s the reason for all the necessary adjustment done. Whether your apology is accepted or not, the needful had been done and that’s what we need in this country. We need to be heard.

  11. Nobody is above misdeed but since you have commit and apologize I’m sure the apology will accept by the victims.

    • He did well…i was actually begging when I saw my sister off last year as she was about to fly…uniform men at the gate …if you don’t give them somthing you won’t enter..only the person travelling
Is allowed in..when you enter, no seat, is annoying.u will only seat at the restaurant session.

  12. My friend what you did was right if you never did who would have done it dont mind those calling you names what you did was for the betterment of everybody.

  13. quite an apology there…
However, I still think some of the people those apologies to some persons aren’t necessary.

  14. Anybody can be found in his shoes and seriously frustration can be frustraful. Remorseful is welcome for smooth relationship

  15. Apology accepted. But that singular act of yours is what we need in Nigeria to be free from the shackles of bad governance in the country.

  16. This is Nigeria where government and officials respond to fix things when it is going out of hand. That’s why they keep negotiating with terrorists.

  17. There’s no need apologizing Actor Aremu Afolayan because what happened to you has happened to several others. FAAN is claiming that entrance to terminal is free when the officers in charge are extorting money from passengers

  18. At least you did the right thing if not that they wouldn’t have let the public know what the airport stands for and what they are against

  19. Only the brave can set the Fools free. I believe many people might have seeing that but never wished to make a comment on it but you voice out and it was attended to. They did what you complained for and you have done well by apologizing to them to show everyone that they have accepted their fault and fix it. Thanks a lot bro
