The Maritine Workers Union of Nigeria (MWUN) commenced their strike on Wednesday after threatening to protest over their unpaid entitlements by the International Oil Companies (IOC) by grounding port operations.

IN compliance with the strike, Apapa and Tin-Can port have been shut down as they join the strike.

A video that has just surfaced on the internet shows members of the Maritine Workers Union of Nigeria (MWUN) chanting solidarity songs in from of the Nigerian port authority, port of Lagos Apapa Quays.
