Alleged fake Bishops: Desperation raised to power 1000 – Dino Melaye mocks APC

Dino Melaye, a former senator from Kogi West, has reacted to the attendance of some bishops at the introduction of Kashim Shettima, Bola Tinubu’s running mate for president of the All Progressives Congress, APC.

Melaye claimed that the alleged bishops’ attendance at Shettima’s unveiling revealed the APC’s plight.

Recall that some people wearing attire resembling that of Christian clerics attended the ceremony on Wednesday at the Shehu Musa Yar’Adua Center in Abuja to support the APC vice presidential candidate.

The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), had criticised the APC, saying “artisans” were hired to act like clerics.

Reacting to the development, Melaye said Reverend Fathers don’t wear cassocks outside mass service.

In a tweet, Melaye wrote: “Reverend fathers do not wear cassocks outside mass service. Desperation raised to power 1000.”
