Nigerian comedian Alibaba has exposed a Lagos based Pharmacy selling expired products on their shelves.
Alibaba shared a video revealing expired products on the shelves of a Lagos pharmacy that masked the real expired dates with a tag showing a date that shows the products are still valid.
This is one more reason I miss Prof Dora Akunyili… if our Agencies raided shelves of these places selling consumables, we will be a better country. Customs, NAFDAC, S.O.N… if they managed to pass the border, catch them in the store!!!!

***Your attention is needed urgently @NafdacAgency , @SONNigeria, @Fmohnigeria
. This pharmacy / pharmacist should also be reported to the licensing body – Pharmacists Council of Nigeria. If this is being done to expired toiletries, I hate to think what they do to their expired drugs.
***Dora is the best President Nigeria never had the opportunity to have. Each time, I see that NAFDAC registration number on any product, I just recall the ZEAL AND FIRE that was always in her eyes as she went about doing that job and how many Nigerians turned against her.
***Are these agencies even well funded to carry out their statutory roles anymore?
NAFDAC is a ghost of it’s former self, the last time I said this the Twitter handler was defensive…I understand, but…let’s still do our parts.
****If only NAFDAC and other Nigerian agencies officials do their job properly then we will be protected from the risks of unscrupulous rogue traders. Rather, many of NAFDAC, immigration & other officials are often busy harassing Nigerians for money at ports & elsewhere.
