The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has reportedly arrested former Attorney General of the federation and Minister of Justice, Mohammed Adoke, on arrival from from Dubai.
The former Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice left Dubai on Thursday following pressure from EFCC.
Mr Adoke arrived on Thursday at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport at 3:45 pm. He was previously held by the Interpol on arrival in Dubai on November 11 for medical purpose.
The Interpol acted on an arrest warrant issued by a High Court of the Federal Capital Territory.
Although the warrant was vacated, Nigerian authorities failed to alert the Interpol on the development, prompting Dubai police to allow Adoke return to Nigeria on his own accord.
