Nollywood actress, Onyii Alex, who suffered a robbery attack while on her way back from a movie set, took to Instagram to share the story as she thanked God.

According to Onyii Alex, he bag and phone was stolen after she was robbed at gunpoint. Here’s what she wrote;

Thank you God almighty🙏 my protector and Everything..So I was robbed at gun point on my way back last night from location., they stole my bag and phone so pls to my close friends pls DM ur contact… I pray for my country nigeria🙏 Thank u Jesus for my life.. my God my Everything..may God almighty continue to protect us all🙏

This is coming few months after armed robbers invaded the house of Nollywood actor, John Okafor, popularly known as Mr Ibu and carted away N14.3 million naira in cash.

The armed robbers who stormed Mr Ibu’s house in Festac, Lagos state also made away with his other valuable properties. According to the Nollywood actor, the robbers stormed his house when he was not around and began a criminal operation that started at about 3a.m. till about 4:25 a.m. on Sunday morning. According to him, the robbers had met his wife at home when they launched the attack. He said he has reported the incident to the police.

The GoTV Ambassador said, “According to my wife, the operation started at about 3a.m. and lasted till about 4:25 a.m. on Sunday morning after which they left with all my property and cash,” Mr Ibu said.

The Lagos State Police however, arrested two members of the robbery gang that invaded the Nollywood actor’s house. Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Superintendent Chike Oti, who confirmed the arrest, said the suspects had been transferred to the Special Anti-Robbery, SARS, for further investigation over the robbery incident.
