Abandoned Toddler Accused of Witchcraft Now a Budding Schoolboy Athlete (Video)

In February 2016 the news of a 2-year-old boy in Akwa Ibom State who was lebelled a ‘witch’ and left to die went viral.

The gut wrenching picture of the abandoned toddler, accused of being a witch in Uyo, Nigeria buzzed the social media for a long while. He was however rescued by a Danish humanitarian worker, Anja Ringgren Loven, the care worker took him into her wings and cared for him.

Recently, Anja Ringgren the charity worker who rescued Hope shared a video of the boy on Facebook, donning his school sports kit, bouncing as though to dance.
