Confirming the death of Sesan who is a native of Ijebu-Mushin, Ogun State, a relative, Jubril Sodeinde, told Punch’s correspondent that he was shocked when he received a call from the church on Tuesday morning that Sesan was found dead in his apartment. According to him, the deceased was always friendly and cheerful, adding that Sesan’s mother had yet to be informed about the incident.

“We saw each other a week ago and he invited me to the church programme. He was a very nice person to be with. He would always make you lively whenever you come across him. I could not believe he could kill himself.

“He was a security guard in the church. He received a salary of N15,000. There was an agreement with the church that at the end of the month, his mother would collect N5,000. The mother is 84-year-old. We don’t know how to break the sad news to her yet.
