The Ogun State governor, Dapo Abiosun, has revealed that 28 oersons are currently being quarantined in the state after they had contact with the Italian man who is the first case of Coronavirus in Nigeria.
The Ogun state government has quarantined 28 persons identified to have come in contact with the Italian man diagnosed with Coronavirus in Lagos.
The Governor while speaking at a press conference on Friday, February 28, 2020, revealed that the Italian man visited the state for a consulting job at a cement factory in Ewekoro community. He said as part of measures to curtail the spread of the virus, the cement factory has also been sealed.
He added that two of the cement factory’s guest houses have been turned into isolation centres where those identified to have made contacts with the Italian man are being examined.
