At least two police officers have been feared dead after some unknown gunmen attacked the Divisional Police Headquarters of Ibiaku Ntok Opo, Ikono Local Government Area of Akwa-Ibom State on May 1.

According to the report by SaharaReporters, the incident occurred at around 3 am as these gunmen who were alleged to be Nnamdi Kanu’s Eastern Security Network members stormed the facility and razed it down.

It was also revealed by the source that a policewoman who was at the facility sustained an injury in the attack while five police vehicles were burnt to ashes and a flag of Nigeria was also stolen.

The source in his submission said;

“Police Divisional Headquarters at Ibiaku Ntok Opo, Ikono LGA of Akwa-Ibom State, has been attacked and razed at about 3 am today. Two policemen have been confirmed killed. A policewoman was injured, five vehicles burnt and a flag stolen. ESN/IPOB carried out the attack.
